Most people in Stockholm speak English, you shouldn’t have any problems.

NO! There are very few places that accept cash. Use your card as you would in the US. Make sure to tell your bank that you’ll be traveling!

Sweden will be warm in the summer, with (hopefully) lots of strong sun. Be prepared with normal summer clothing and sunscreen.

We’ll have a mix of English and Swedish, but either way, the wedding will be understandable to you! If you need help, please feel free to ask someone in our wedding party to help you translate!

The ceremony starts at 2pm. There will be a ferry from Vaxholm to Kastellet at 1:45pm.

The dress code is semi-formal. Men can wear suits or well-dressed summer attire, such as linen suits or chinos with a dress shirt. Women can wear summer dresses or other formal attire. The ground at Kastellet can be uneven, so we don’t recommend high heels. Please avoid wearing jeans, white, red, or light blue.

The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors.

Yes there is a parking available but it is a 15 minute walk away.

We have decided to have a child-free wedding. Kastellet is surrounded by water, so parents can have a relaxing, fun night, without having to keep an eye on any young ones.

We'll have a barbeque, with meat, fish and vegetarian options.

Drinks will be included with dinner and we will have two signature drinks available all night. Kastellet will have a fully stocked bar for anything else you may want to drink.

Yes, we will have taxis running between select hotels and the venue.
